" A little gem! Not to be missed if you are in the area and love your coffee!!My partner and I got 2 coffees (Flat White and latte), 2 banana bread and also a ginger energy shot. The bill comes to 62lei. You will see that they serve a glass of water/sparkling water with the coffee as well. :)They are very clean, quite compacted and hip. There is a gender neutral bathroom as well. The staff was very helpful and spoke English. He helped us with questions we have around navigating Bucharest.Truly amazing experience. The site also uses minimal plastic, which adds a bonus point. Will return daily for a morning coffee. "

" One of the most surprising and chic cafés I've been in. Small yet comfy, very nicely decorated, artsy place with really cool staff. You can sit inside, but it's a bit cramped or just enjoy the corner tables outside, either way the coffee is top alongside the other (non) alcoholic drinks. Impressed by the fact that they offer cold sparking water alongside your coffee on the house. Cheers for your service! "

The baristas are very nice, professional and friendly, the atmosphere is very cosy and welcoming. Coming here so often, I made friends and it looks like a small community is forming around Alef.
